I was born in Indiana, however I was raised, right here in San Diego County. I have always been active and have been involved in fitness since I was 16 years old. My motivation for becoming a fitness trainer is simple: I have always felt that my purpose is to help others. I love seeing people push themselves to levels they never thought possible. Through the International Sports Science Association (ISSA) I am certified as a Fitness Trainer and also hold a certification as a Speed, Agility and Quickness Specialist through the National Exercise & Sports Trainers Association (NESTA) I’m also a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do. My first concern is always my clients, what is in their best interests and for them to reach their fitness goals.
I was born and raised in Bulgaria and I moved to the USA in 2004.
I wasn’t always physically active; I used to live an unhealthy lifestyle but decided I wanted to experience real change in my life and that’s when I discovered my passion for fitness! Once I experienced the joy of seeing my body transform and realized the awesomeness of the human body, I wanted to share it with the world. I knew that if I could do it, anyone could.
In 2012 I completed the Fitness Specialist Certificate Program at Grossmont College and I started leading boot camp classes right away. It has been such an adventure!
My passion for helping others achieve their fitness goals is what drives me and that passion grows with every person I assist in reaching their target.
My favorite fitness quote is by Socrates: “No man has the right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training. It is a shame for a man to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable”
I am an ACE Certified Personal Trainer and hold certifications in TRX, Tabata, Fit Body, and am CPR/AED certified. I also hold BA in Communication and Security Engineering Systems.
I hope you are ready to sweat.
